Krauss Craft’s proprietary PlayDesigner software was designed specifically to

empower Playcraft Designers and Representatives with the ability to create fresh new

playground designs or modify existing designs quickly and easily.

Unlike bulky, complicated CAD packages, PlayDesigner is a user-friendly, playground-

specific design program. It makes it easier than ever for you to get the exact

playground design you want in a timely manner. Krauss Craft provides an extensive

library of pre-built playground designs that can be easily downloaded directly from our

website.

As you design your playground, the PlayDesigner software works in the background

to make sure your design meets the latest safety guidelines and also tests for

compliance with ASTM, CPSC, and CSA. It enables the playground designer to create

or modify playground designs using a simple drag and drop method in a 2D plan view.

Components snap together automatically and can be configured in a variety of ways.

Colors can be assigned in 3D mode by simply clicking on color palettes by component

category (Posts, Decks, Collars, etc.). Users will be able to pan, rotate and zoom the

camera and even save preset camera views.

PlayDesigner keeps a running total of the weight and price and makes sure you stay

within your designated budget. When you are done designing, you can print your

complete proposal including 2D and 3D drawings, bill of materials, Design Summary,

Cover Letter and much more. PlayDesigner is yet another example of how Krauss

Craft is using technology to empower Playcraft Distributors and provide them with

invaluable time saving tools.
